Brothers, Spring is in the air and Easter is not far off. March is going to be a busy month. We have our Candy Sale the final 3 weekends, Membership Drive the 14th and 15th, and our Corporate Communion approaching on April 26th. If you are available after Masses to help sell candy, we’ll take the help.
This month is also the Diocese Men’s Conference on March 21st. A link to the website and registration is on our site under Links. Our 2nd principle is Unity. We are called to be united not only to our brother Knights, but to the Church as well. This conference is an opportunity to Unite with Fellow Catholic Men, and demonstrate your support for each other and the Church. Clearly, I recommend attending if you are able. Registration is available thru March 8th.
Do you know of a Man, a neighbor, or perhaps an acquaintance who would benefit from joining our organization? Encourage them to stop by after a Mass on March 14th or 15th and chat with us. A personal invitation from a friend goes a long way. I hope to see many of you over that weekend. Please wear your Knights of Columbus Pin that weekend. It will not only help us identify our fellow brothers, but will show your support of the Knights.
40 days for life is taking place now. Again, there is a link to a website for more information. Please consider joining this group for prayer outside the Planned Parenthood offices in Lancaster.
We are looking for brothers willing to get involved in several areas. First a couple brothers that would be interested in helping with the Culture of Life group just beginning to reform at St. John Neumann. We are not asking for individuals to run this group, rather you would represent the Knights, and keep the Officers informed on how the Knights can best help this group. Second, I would like to form a committee for the Youth of our Parish. I have a brother willing to be our Youth Leader, however it would be best if there were multiple brothers involved. Please contact me if you would be interested in helping in either of these areas.
Lastly, please remember our Brothers and their families and friends in your prayers.
Vivat Jesus
