Brothers, as we enter in to the season of Advent, may our thoughts and actions be in the true spirit of this spectacular season. What a privilege we have, in this wonderful country we live in, to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. As Christians our focus should be on the wonderful blessing God has bestowed upon us in the birth or his Son.
With our first and foremost principle in mind, charity, along with the dedication of each and every one of you, we have experienced a stellar year. Our two major fund raisers, the golf outing and pig roast, were huge successes. Both produced record income allowing us to fund many charities as well as our church, thanks to the great leadership of Dick Reehling, Golf Committee chairman and Chuck Mayo, Pig Roast Committee chairman. However, the success of these events would not be possible without the support of the many Brother Knights who serve on the committees. Chuck’s leadership through the first six months of this year has positioned our council for more success in the upcoming year. Thank you, Chuck, for your hours of work and dedication to the council.
With Christmas closing in on us at a very rapid pace, my wife, Pam and I extend our wish that your Christmas be memorable and enjoyable. May the grace and peace of our Lord be with you and your families.
MERRY CHRISTMAS,
Bill
